I-Pad in room

I've never tried using wi-fi in a lobby, but I travel so often for work that I always have a secure mobile hot spot with me... I know to use the internet in the rooms you either have to go with the hard wire (free if you are a DVC Member staying on points) or bring your own router to go wireless.

Agreed. Disney will not let AT&T put cell towers up on property. Depending on where you are on property, service can be great to barely available.

If you plan on using the iPad in your room, bring a wireless router. I purchased a refurbished Apple AirPort Express because of it's compact size to take out to Disney with us.

Dumb question....
Is this for going on the internet......or for making a phone call or both.

Thinking of getting an Iphone.....I do have Verizon service(available 2-10).
Would this make a difference.
Thanks
Kerri

Both, although phone service is not a picky as cellular data is.

Disney & Verizon worked together on a Disney Mobile service that's available for a fee on select Verizon phones. That would led me to believe that Verizon's coverage could/should be better on property than AT&T's coverage.
