A real first aid kit. My daughter tripped and tore the skin on her toe once and a bandaid wasn't enough.
Yes! This!
You need at the least:
Disinfecting wipes
iodine tincture, also a tube of neosporin
Bandaids, gauze, tape, those really good clear waterproof bandaids
steri-strips (if you don't need them they are small, if you do need them nothing else will work)
small bottle of H2O2
Preparation H (for swollen sore feet. If you happen to also get a 'roid...)
Assortment of tylanol, motrin, immodium, tums, zegrid, pseudophed, etc
Tweezers (splinters)
Duct-tape
If you want to be prepared for everything:
Smelling Salts
a disposable lancet (most often for really bad splinters)
Super-glue
Crazy stuff I usually have, just in case:
Field Suture Kit
Amyl Nitrate (immediate relief for angina attack, counteracts cyanide poisoning, and its a dis-associative that can help someone deal with getting an emergency stitch of having a bad splinter removed)
JB Weld.
