I just recieved my Mary Janes today and the strap on top of the foot was too tight, so I tried stretching them the way it said on the tag. It wasn't working it kept going back to shape. So I heated the strap up with the hair dryer BIG MISTAKE, because I over stretched it, now what? What do I do now? They are to big:mad:
Can I shrink that strap back down to size?

HELP!

Can we say "OOPS!"?:) That sounds like something I would do.

When I was in the Croc's store this summer someone inquired as how to care for them. The associate said they were maint. free other that wiping them off and if you put them in the washer...do not dry them or they'll shrink. A hot car could have the same result as well.

Maybe if you heated them again (and didn't stretch) the strap would shrink as it cooled?:confused3

If not...sell them on eBay.

Just put them in the dryer for 10 minutes. They will go right back to the original size. I stretched, shrunk, and restretched a pair several times before I got them the way I wanted them.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but what temperature do you use to wash Crocs? When you wash them are they "shiny" like when they are new?

Thanks Everyone. I threw them in the dryer and that worked, but now I am back to the straps being to tight.:rotfl2:

For anyone who has the Mary Janes, the problem is the snap where it says crocs it holds the straps. Well I feel the snap rubbing against the inside of my foot and I am worried I'll get a sore or someting there. Anyone have that problem?

No hijacking required! I wash mine and my daughter's in cold. I don't remember how shiny they were and when they became "duller" (is that a word outside of Alabama?) with wear. Pledge ON THE TOPS ONLY shines them up pretty well.

Rub some Band-Aid Blister Block on that area where it rubs, it will really help! I had the same problem at WDW a few weeks ago. I used the Blister Block and it worked. :thumbsup2

good luck!
