I now know the size of the daybeds at BWI

WOW . . I received a reply to my letter to guest services and they wrote:

Dear Debra,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

We appreciate your interest, the bed is 35" x 65" and guests over 5 feet
tall would not fit on this bed.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if
applicable on all correspondence.

Ok, so apparently DS is not going to fit on the daybed . . .is that smaller than other daybeds at the deluxes?

Thanks for that info, that's the kind of info that I always appreciate finding here on the DIS boards. For example, neither of my DSs would fit on that daybed either, so a regular room at that resort would not be a good option for us (since we like to get DSs their own beds).

that is definitely smaller than the daybeds at the Polynesian. The daybed at the Polynesian is a regular sized daybed and both of my DSs have taken turns sleeping on it. DS19 is about 5'11" and DS16 is about 5'10". They're both husky guys too. And both of them said they were comfortable on the daybed.
