Mine too shep....I might throw some leaves on them, but they'll be ok.

I've had them come up and then had a heavy snowfall. They have always survived and I never thought to mulch them. I'm sure they will be okay, but I would be having anxiety attacks. See how stress reducing gardening is.

I don't think you are supposed to cover them up or anything...I guess ole mother nature will take care of things...

Shep, I just found this on our new, very useful, Dis search option.

"Winter warm spells may result in premature leaf growth, but the flower buds are safe within the bulb and will not be harmed."

I just went and checked the outdoor temperature, it's 48 out, no wonder the plants get confused!

It's really wierd up here, we hit 60 yesterday, 20's today. Yet Missouri got dumped on with snow.
