I never shared our pics from October dining!! Pic lovers, come in!

I would love to know what you had at the GF Afternoon Tea! We're doing the Tea on our trip in August and was curious as to what the sandwiches are. They look wonderful as well as the pastries.

Thanks for the pix! I'd also love to hear more about the Tea. That Stilton looks devine.

hi, how was citricos? did the menu have enough choices? was the seating spaced out enough for quiet conversation? was it crowded? thanks in advance

How was breakfast at EOS?? We love going there for lunch, but I never thought about breakfast. We'll be at SSR for a few nights in May and that would be so convenient...

It was a really last minute decision - we dropped someone off for a special event that morning at DTD but all the shops were still closed so we opted to have breakfast. We were planning to hit Wolfgang Puck for breakfast, which I've heard good things about, but made it as far as Earl once we realized they were open as well =)

It was your average breakfast sandwich, really. And all they have are the sandwiches - no sides other than yogurt or fruit. I was hoping for some hashbrowns, LOL! The coffee is good.

It really is a great place for a nice long morning. There were lots of "singles" in there with a cup of joe and a book, just lounging before the start of their day. If I hadn't had DH with me, I would have grabbed myself a paper and settled in. It's quiet, and comfy, so not a bad place to kill some time in the early morning hours. I just wouldn't go for the food =)

Let me think... mom and I split the Buckingham Palace tea and a plate of English Blue Stilton Cheese. The cheese was DIVINE if you like that kind of cheese. The sandwiches were pear something, maybe watercress?, and maybe tuna? Hard to remember! They were all good.

It was a nice experience that we'd never done before. Gets a little pricey so we wouldn't do it every trip but since DH was golfing that afternoon, it was a great choice for mom and I. Service there was great, as well!

Citricos is now my favorite WDW restaurant - it was so good. The atmosphere is not dark and romantic but not crazy and wild either. There were very few families there, and since we had a late ADR of about 830, those that were there left shortly after we arrived. In the area we were seated, the tables were fairly close together but spaced to where you weren't seated next to someone, if that makes sense. I couldn't see what was on other people's plates or anything but could see the waiter come with the dishes =)

We though the menu was great - and they had additional dishes that were not on the online menu that we previewed before we went. I knew going in that I was going to have a filet so I could compare it to the one at Yachtsman I had a few months prior. Dh and I both had filet but mom tried the salmon. Hers was good, and a large portion, but once she tasted our filet she was regretting her choice :teeth: Food was just excellent, service was good and not snotty, and it was a great dining "experience." We did not feel rushed, as we often do at a WDW restaurant.

It was booked the night we went, we even waited a good 20 minutes after our ADR to be seated and they were not taking walk-ups. So it was crowded but we were able to have quiet private conversation without a problem.
