I filled out the first application a little over 2 hours ago, and still haven't received a "thanks for applying" email. I'm SUPER nervous. Has this happened to anyone else? Could that fact that it's a Sunday rather than a work day have anything to do with it?! Hmm...

Oh, I forgot to mention, the DCP is on my dash and says that it is in progress. That means they received it right? Even though I did not get an email yet?

Yeah you're fine. Some people get emails right away and others have to wait. It says online everyone that applied will be notified of their app status by November, so you have time. If your dash says in progress it means they got it so you're all set, don't worry.
