I Need Your "Sage" Advice

Is rubbed sage the same as ground sage? I have a recipe that calls for rubbed, but I only have ground. If it's not the same, how much ground would I use if the recipe says 1 1/2 teaspoons rubbed sage?

Ground sage is finer than rubbed sage. I would substitute half the amount of your dried sage for the rubbed sage that the recipe calls for.
