Being a patient's advocate is a great job for a tenacious sister - it is frequently the only way to get the news and help everyone needs! Turn her loose on the hospital folks - and that lets you be the calm one for balance...! Hugs and good thoughts and energy coming your way -

Course sis will not be happy when she finds out I said that they could come here for Christmas instead of going back to her house. My house is a little bit more laid back then hers. Course my having 2 boys and her having 3 teenage girls probably has a LOT to do with it. I am so glad I don't have girl drama.

I've skimmed all the notes.. glad to hear your sister is like me.. give me the answers or I'll hound you till I get them!!! Love it!!!

When my mom was in the hospital years ago... I walked in on a doctor being curt with my Dad.. well, by the time he left the room he was apologizing to my dad and told my mom that he feared I was gonna kick his backside right out the door.. Now, when I call my mom at work and he is in the room he runs for cover!!! Mom said he is always fearful I may round a corner at any time....

The ER here in town allows me back immediately cause the last time they tried to keep me out when DH was so sick I told them to get security cause I was going regardless... Security never did come down....

I hope they can figure this out soon...but it's great that you were able to speak with your dad...and that your BIL's brother is such a gem to go and take care of your mom for the family... that is a true blessing..
