I am confused. I would like to book a 3 day cruise in January 06 to celebrate my dd's 1st birthday. I looked at the Disney website and it shows a discounted rate of $349 for the Jan 5 '06 cruise pp. But when I go to book it the cat. 12 is coming up $1100 and change. Is it full price for a one year old?

I also put in just me and my dh to get a price quote and it was coming to $900 and change. How does one book the $349 rate?

Thanks in advance for your help everyone!

Call DCL or your travel agent. The posted rates usually don't include some of the taxes and/or port charges (check the small print.) Infants cruise free, but do pay port charges and government taxes.

And the first two people in a room pay the adult rate, even if one of them is a baby. I would call DCL and check on what they were advertising.

You might also check pricing for Cat 11. Sometimes Cat 12 runs higher than Cat 11 when DCL has specials.

thank you all so very much! I will look into your suggestions! I totally appreciate it everyone!

we were looking at that too. when I called Disney they were able to book the advertised price of 799 (for the 7 day cruise) It came to 907 with all the taxes and trip from the airport. Great deal!!! (I think)
