I need your help

When we were in WDW in oct 2007, we took a taxi to the Titanic Experience, as my DS 4 is MAD on it!!! It was on International Drive, and if that is the same one that is on your link, then I'm afraid it is no more!
After paying around $26 in the taxi, we got there to find it had closed 3 weeks earlier, some of the exhibits were being auctioned off, and no one knew if it would ever re-open, as the site it was on is being redeveloped. We asked at the tourist info, who said there was hope that it would be rebuilt somewhere else, but no one really knew. To say my son was gutted was an understatement!. However, if by some chance the one on your link is a different one, let me know, as we are planning to go back to WDW next year.
As Michelle has already mentioned, Titanic, The Exhibition has been relocated from the Mercado to the Orlando Science Center (and has undergone a slight name change). According to the OSC's website, it's "open for a limited engagement", so you'd be wise to check before forking out for another taxi, especially as it's north of Downtown Orlando. It is accessible by Lynx bus, which would save you a fortune, but would probably involve some changes and a long journey.

Have you any links to scuba-diving centres around kissimmee? Our DS had just completed his basic PADI training and we are hoping to finish off his training by doing his open water dives in Florida while on holiday this summer (too cold to do it here just now!!!!!)
From what I can gather, there are quite a few training centres in Orlando, but the dive sites themselves tend to be elsewhere. This site provides links to the centres and I see there is one in Kissimmee.

Congratulations to your son! Have you considered DiveQuest at Epcot as a treat for him?

Good lord Deb :worship: :worship: fantastic effort and one that will be much appreciated !

To Snowy-girls and UKDEB - thanks for the Titanic info - will definitely check it out!
P.S. Thanks for the great list UKDEB!

You have certainly been busy Deb. Much appreciated, :thumbsup2 Certainly a great source for future use thanks again...

:worship: Fantastic information:worship: , and all in one place :thumbsup2 , thanks sooo much :goodvibes

I would suggest some links to Disability Equipment rentals. There are already some on the Disbaility forums but for ease of access to UK disers you may consider putting them here as well.

'Live Maps' is something we use when renting a villa, you can actually see the images of the home and which direction the pool is facing etc
If you want a south facing pool you can confirm this.

It's almost like being there hovering over in a helicopter. It's useful for looking at hotels too, you can see clear images of the layout, roads, swimming pools etc
If you know the address or post code it is really useful and personally think it's a lot better than 'google earth'.

You can even adjust the 'camera' angle so you can view your desired location from the front, rear, side etc

Villa development location maps.
Have you thought of adding any Deb?

Radio stations....?
