Wow it's been awhile since I've been on. I doubt some of you even remeber me. Anyways, back to the problem.

Right now I'm homeschooled. I have the option of going back to Highschool if I so choose. Now there are pro's and con's.

HOMESCHOOL
PROs: Get to stay home; only have to do school for 3-4 hours; get to play on the computer all day.
CONs: No social what-so-ever; no after-school activities(except hanging with friends); NO PROM!

HIGHSCHOOL
PROs: Social life; after-school activities; PROM!
CONs: Bullies; evil teachers; drugs; alchohol; other innapropiate activities; the threat of unstable idiots coming to shoot up the school.

So that's my problem. Stay home or go to school? That's were you come in. Do you like public school? Or are you homeschooled?

So just let me know. I could really use your opinion. :thumbsup2

Go to school. I go to public school. Sometimes it's really annoying to have like a thousand people in your face, and I really hate having those people on MSN so they torment you [like right now for instance].
But guess what? You learn to love them, and when you leave school, you'll really know that you don't actually hate them, even if sometimes it feels like you do.
Anyways, bullies aren't big over here, I don't worry about them, but I don't know what it's like over there.

Take lary's advice, she's right. Homeschooling... meh.

OT: but lary, that's a great Yellowcard song in your sig...

M'kay. Middle school bullies were just....whack I guess. Idiots. Pointless, miss-directed morons. Thanks for your comment. :goodvibes

Plus I'd like to add, High school is better than Middle school. I mean, I haven't been there yet, but my brother doesn't hate school like he did in middle school. Again this varies from city to city, but everyone gets along, there are tons of clubs, and it's much more humble.
Middle school sucks balls.
You get this feeling when you're in a club and you do a bunch of things at school, it makes you feel a part of something bigger than yourself, not alone or anything.
The only downside about going to public school, is it's harder to ask questions about work. I just find it easier to ask questions to my parents when they explain something and I still don't get it. Because their my parents. My teacher would just get annoyed.

no way! me too! but this is my last year and i am going to a private highschool bc my mom thinks shes not smart enough for her to teach me! but i'd say go to highschool bc you get to make friends, do sports, join clubs (good clubs), and you get a social life. i on the other hand have a great social life! :woohoo: :cool1: sorry...........

Hummm.
You can probably economise that really easily. On the bright side, you're the guy. A tux won't cost you much. A dress however, cost 400$ itself, and that's a cheaper one.

I have no job. Who knows if I'll even get a job? The best I could do is maybe be a bag-boy/stock-boy at the local grocery store.

I want a social life. Well, I guess I do have one. A small one, but still....guess it counts.

Just wondering, how old are you now?

You really don't need any sort of expertise to get a job. Of course it helps, but unless you're aiming for a place in the food market or tech market, it's easy to get a job.
If you can get a job at a grocery store, try something better like a furniture store or Wal-Mart.

13 as of now. B-Day is Jan 13, 1993. The Wal-Mart over on my side of town scares the crap outta me...

Don't worry about prom then ^^
I don't have a job either.
If I wanted to, I could. But right now Tim Horton's is the only place that would hire a thirteen year old.
If you want to, you take up babysitting. I don't know many guys who do this but it's amazing what people will pay to have their kids looked after. I used to get paid fourty bucks to babysit a 11 and 9 year old during the day in the summer. I watched tv all day.

Oh. Duh. My friend does that. She gets friggin' rich. The most I do right now is mow lawn. I make about $20-$40 depending on whether my neighbor wants her lawn mowed.

I am now going to say something hypocritical:
That's good money, save it.
Reason it's hypocritical, is because I have never saved money. I know people who have 500$ saved up at home.
I have 5$

Anyways, it would probably be a nice change to go to public school. Give it a try, I mean if you don't, you'll never know what it's like.

Do you have an internet option? I'm going to start doing about 4 classes on the internet, and then I go to two classes at school. I'm excited. I have a hard time getting to school, because I really just have no way to get there sometimes. This way I can still have interaction with people, and I can pick the lunch I'd like to go to.

If you don't have that option, I'd say go to school. If I didn't go to school, I would really miss out on the memories when I get out. Plus, I agree, it is way better than middle school.
