Money has been a bit tight so far this year but we have been planning to go to Orlando since last year. My boyfriend has said that if I can find a 10 night holiday staying on International Drive (near Wet n Wild) including flights for around £1000 for us both then we can go. I have found a couple for about £1200 but wondered if anyone had any suggestions or good websites to try. I dont mind doing DIY or package. I would like to go on or just after September 22nd.
Thanks in advance for any help. :thumbsup2

Woohoo - hope you manage to find something! :cool1:

Have never used either before but have seen good offers posted a few times from places like Monarch and Cosmos! I usually use a company for Europe holidays called greatlatedeals.co.uk (think they are part of travelrepublic.com) and usually get them cheaper than I find elsewhere! I have never used them for Florida but Im sure they will probably have something good! :thumbsup2

Where will you be flying from?

Just had a look on greatlatedeals.co.uk using Manchester flights and also on Monarch and Cosmos! Seems the cheapest is around £1200 like you have found using Monarch! Hopefully someone else will be along with some fab deals! :)

A few years ago my dad decided to book a last minute trip but only wanted to spend £500 per person. As he's not internet savvy he asked the travel agent and they came up with something. It was only a Quality Inn but as we weren't in the hotel very much didn't matter.

So definitely see what the travel agents have to offer :thumbsup2

Is it from London?
VA have flights 22nd Sept ~ 3rd Oct for £903.89 or if you have some VA miles many dates are available for £843.80 + 4,000 miles.
Cheapest hotel on Idrive with a very quick search shows Hotel Econolodge Inn & Suites at around £200 (22nd Sept~3rd Oct)

Struggling to beat £1,000 unless you go indirect or wait for a last minute deal.

Complete orlando on the 23rd sept for 10 nights, flights £988 + accomodation from £198.Thats flying with virgin from manchester.

Thanks everyone, I will keep looking. Or maybe wait and try for a late deal.

Just thought I'd let you know, I had a look at Travel Republic (not a website I've known about before) and found a flight we are more than happy with!!!! I booked it!!!!!!!! So excited now. I managed to get Virgin flights for £467 each. I havent travelled with Virgin for so long as their prices have been so expensive so when I saw this price I grabbed it! The hotels I am looking at are about £200 so not too much over budget.
Thanks for your advise. You have made one lady VERY happy! :cool1::banana::worship::lovestruc

Well done :cheer2:

Now you can start looking forward to your trip - how exciting!!
