I'm working at pinching pennies for our june wedding. I've come up with a fabulous idea for making my own invitations (i'll post pics later), but I'm not sure what address to use for the Wedding Pavilion. How do you word it on the bottom of your invitation? Please help.... thanks!

I was planning to put it this way on my invitation. That is the date I originally wanted so now we are pushing the date back....
Hope this helps...

We just got our invitation today! Ours says:

Once in a while
right in the middle of an ordinary life
love gives us a fairy tale....
Together with their parents,
_________
and
__________
request the honor of your presence
as they are joined in marriage
on this day of enchantment
Sunday, the twenty-seventh day of May
at five o'clock in teh afternoon
Disney's Wedding Pavilion
Walt Disney World
Lake Buena Vista, Florida

We used the Lake Buena Vista, Florida as well. I think everyone knew with our newsletters that we were going to Disney World in Orlando.

Dznystar, as you’ve seen from the responses here in your thread, it honestly doesn’t matter what address you use. The most widely used address that I have seen notated over the years is the Lake Buena Vista address. However, when it came time to send out invitations to my own FTW vow renewal, I broke all the rules:

On the inside of my invitation, it stated: “You are cordially invited to our vow renewal ceremony at Walt Disney World.” And in the “note” part of the invitation (inside cover), it stated: “Rick and I will be celebrating twenty years of marriage with an intimate vow renewal ceremony inside Disney’s Wedding Pavilion in Florida.”

It honestly didn’t matter what I put in the invitation since I’ve learned over the years that most invitees read an invitation, note its date, time and location, and then promptly throw the invitation away (that’s what I do). The most important thing that my invitees learned was that my event was being held in Walt Disney World in Florida and not Disneyland in California. Believe me, that was a very important point to get across since Rick and I live on the West Coast and a West Coast event would have made more sense than an East Coast event.

So, try not to stress out too much about your invitation. Your loved ones will attend your event because they love you and not the piece of paper that invited them to your event. ;)
