Portion control and exercise is the TRUE key to weight loss. All those fad diets hardly ever work, and if they do, it's only a few pounds in the beginning, plus some aren't healthy.
Keep active, with either running/jogging, walking, or bike riding. Stay away from sweets, like cookies and candy, or restrict the amount you eat, and eat smaller portions during your regular meals (lunch, breakfast, and dinner). If you want a snack, eat fruit or something healthy, and only a little bit of it.
