When we are at Disney, we are going to be responsible for paying for 2 of our TS meals OOP. Originally we had planned on paying for Sci-Fi and Chef Mickeys OOP, but I think it would make more sense to pay for CRT (breakfast) OOP instead. What do you think? :woohoo:

I would look here http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm and compare which meals are the cheapest adn pick that one. Typically breakfast buffetts are the cheapest. Using the ddp at a menu style resturaunt gives you the most bang for your buck, since ddp entitles everyone to an app. entree, and dessert.

Show us your ADR list, including which meal of the day and I can give better input. If you have a 2TS meal it may be better is just pay for that one.

Definately pay for the CRT in cash. Having 2 dinners on the Plan is more expensive than CRT breakfast.

Definitely pay OOP for CRT!

I look at this way - I pre-pay for CRT w/ my debit card when I call to make my ADRs (months before my actual WDW trip), so, then, when I'm actually in WDW, our CRT meal is already paid for & I don't have to worry about it - leaving me 2 TS credits for 2 other meals, if I'm on the DDP or leaving me w/ extra $$ for more meals/spending money, if I'm not on the DDP.

Last year, when I called to schedule our ADRs, we had not yet decided on which resort, so I didn't yet have a MYW pckg w/ dining, so my debit card was charged for CRT. After we decided which resort & purchased our MYW pckg, I decided not to call back & have the charge removed from our debit card & saved those 2 TS credits for 2 other meals. I said all that to say - I'm not sure how it works if you call to make your ADRs & you already have a MYW pckg.

At any rate, I again plan to prepay for CRT this coming December when I make our ADRs for our June 2008 trip.

I do the same exact thing - I call it my self extended DDP. We are paying OPP of HDDR. I did this because we wanted Tier one seating the the DDP only gives you Tiers 2 and 3. By doing OPP we already paid for that meal.

We also paid OOP for CRT. After doing the math, it was a better deal to do that and have two other TS meals instead of just the one. Worked out great!
