We just got back from my son's gymnastics' state championships. My son is a Level 6. He WON!!!!! He is the All Around State Champion. He also won pommel and rings, took second on p-bars, third on floor and ninth on high bar. I am so proud.

He has had a rough year. We made the decision to move him to a different gym at the end of last season. He had to repeat Level 6 because of a lot things he need to fix, while his friends from his old gym moved to Level 7. He has had to work very hard to relearn most of his skills. I am just so happy that all of his hard work has paid off. Now he has to get ready for regionals in two weeks.

My other son is a dancer, last year I had to move both boys to new places. At the time, I thought that I was just being hyper-critical and I was making the wrong choice. Now both of my boys are thriving in their sports and they are so happy.

When my son was young he did gymnastics for a couple of years and loved it! He wasnt good in traditional sports and this gave him lots of confidence-he later translated this to doing spins on the wave board we used to pull behind the boat at the lake
