Who's American Girl crazy! I love these dolls, they're so sweet.

I had originally bought DD Nicki last year and put her away, but after hearing that her hair was kind of hard to maintain, I sold her off on Ebay along with some of her outfits I had purchased. After that I went out and a brand new doll, and some brand new outfits

So now I have the doll sitting in the cupboard, along with her outfits, and some for DD's Bitty Baby...

I just need to know that I'm not the only mommy who loves these gorgeous little dollies! I even have my Molly doll from when I was little... I'm hooked.

I love them too! My mom bought Samantha for DD's 6th birthday, and she received Nellie the following Christmas. DD loves reading all the books about the historical characters. I love the innocence of it, the imagination and the joy she has learning about different periods of time and playing with her dolls. DD & I went on a mom/daughter weekend to Chicago at the end of September and visited American Girl Place. We had such a wonderful time. DD was in her glory walking around the store looking at the displays of the historical characters and the modern outfits available for dolls (and her). She told me while at lunch at the American Girl Cafe with a huge smile on her face, and her Samantha doll in a booster seat at the table, that "this is one of the best ever days of my life!" I know we could have had our weekend anywhere and had a great time together, but I love being able to share her joy of American Girl.

Count me in! I have 2 DDs and they have, between the 2 of them, Nicki, Molly, Julie, and Emily, Jackson the Horse, a desk and a vanity, lots of clothes and other accesories. This Christmas they will acquire Kit and Mia, Mia's bedroom set, some other Mia stuf that I can't remember, Kits scooter, Kits bed, Kits stove, theatre seats, more clothes and accesories. I even got my 2.5 year old neice the Bitty twins combo with the stroller and whatever else comes with that, and my 2 year old neice is getting a Bitty Baby, some clothes and the high chair.

My Meredith is begging for Molly's dog, Bennet. I have one last chance to get him, because SIL asked me to just order something for the girls from AG and she'll reimburse me. I just really hesitate...$18 for a dumb tiny little stuffy. I love most of the AG stuff, I really do, but I can't see paying this for what must be a very small dog, if it's the doll's dog....

Anybody have him? Is there anything I'm missing about this????

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, and he's a child-size stuffy, not a doll-sized stuffy?

Nope. I just called AG. It's a little palm-sized stuffy. I don't see it happening. I like AG just fine, but I'll find something at TRU for cheap that Molly doll can love and call her own.
