I want to go ahead and book for the free dining plan, but all of my details aren't set. How flexible will CRO be about changing things? I know which dates and which hotels I would like, but I'm just not sure who's coming. For sure it will be me, DD(17), and one of her friends. We're not sure which one, because it involves getting out of school, schedules, etc. and no one wants to commit this far in advance. And now my husband is thinking it would be good to get away for a weekend. If I book one room and need to change the names on the reservation will that be a problem. Also, will I be able to add another person or another room at a later date. I don't want to miss out because I'm sure about at least 2 of us but not the rest. Help.
 Has anyone else changed things once the reservation was confirmed?

You should be able to add or change people on the package as long as it does not exceed room capacity. Any changes within 45 days prior to arrival will result in a change fee. You can add another room to your package as long as it is done prior to June 4, which is the deadline for booking the free dining package. You always run the risk of that second room not being available in the resort of your choice, which might result in having to cancel ressie #1 and rebooking it at the same resort that you were able to get ressie #2 at.

People make changes to their ressies all of the time...switching rooms, resorts, people, dates. You're not alone in your situation. Me, I would book that second room ASAP with whatever names are most likely to be in it. It will require another $200 deposit. You will have until 45 days prior to your arrival date to sort things out at no cost to you. But it would guarantee your choice of resort and rooms now.

I agree that it would be best to go ahead and reserve two rooms at the same time, just make sure to cancel the 2nd room if you need to before the 45 day mark. I am not positive, but I think you can reserve two rooms on one reservation without having to make a second reservation and put down a second $200 deposit.

CRO told me that if you make a change in your package which results in the package price being increased by more than $5.00, then you do not have to pay a change fee - even if it is less than 45 days before your trip. So, if this is correct, then it would be better to call and add people to your reservation at a later date, than to have to remove them from your reservation. For example, if you think you might have 3 people, but you aren't sure. It would be better to reserve the package for 2 people, then call later and add the 3rd person - because that will result in your package price being increased, so you won't be charged a change fee. However, if you reserve the package for 3 people, and have to call later to have one person deleted from the package, you will be charged a change fee.

When I booked the package I asked a similar question, as my hubby was concerned about his work schedule this far out, and what would happen if he couldn't go (the rest of the family would still go). The CM I spoke to said: No Penalty to upgrade (i.e. add days, guests, upgrade resort, tickets, ect) or to cancel within the 45 day timeframe, $50 to downgrade (go to a less expensive room, ticket, drop guests and their tickets from the ressie) you can upgrade anytime, but if it's less than 45 days until your trip it's $200 to cancel.
