Went by Lowe's again yesterday and came back with some more stuff.
First were some new plants to replace the kalanchoe on the front porch. I finally found out what those neat-looking things were, they're kalanchoe. And they only bloom once during the spring/summer.
I'm very disappointed in myself for not taking pictures of them before they bloomed out.
So I got some ixora and a vinnia to replace them. The Kalanchoe are now on the back porch needing to be dead-headed, and the others have taken their place on the front. *These* bloom throughout the summer.
Then I also picked up a 1-gallon oleander because I love the oleanders.
Now, though, I have 5 1-gallon azaleas and 1 1-gallon oleander that I'm scratching my head over where to plant. LOL! Oops... And I still want a hibiscus and a cutting from my mom's Texas Vitex tree... And may have to save my mom's wisteria tree/vine because she doesn't like where it's planted (it keeps trying to climb the crepe mertle) and is talking about just having it cut down. So if I can figure out how to transplant a 7-foot wysteria tree, we may take that.
