But I don’t think Ms. Donna will go for it, so I need you help and lets prove to her that is the one for us, by voting for me and Art Deco TV, or her and the bland look from the old country.

Vote now she will not know who you are really.

Do we get to ask questions before we vote? Kind of like...who spends the most time in the kitchen, or something like that?

Hey I say go for the TV. Who's the boss of the house anyway? ;)

Stand in the middle of the kitchen and proclaim loudly, "I am the boss here. We WILL get the TV." Did you get hit? No? There you go, see, not a problem.

Now do it when Donna is within earshot. Rub the sore spot, the pain will eventually go away.

Personally, I wouldn't have that in the kitchen...only because it would be lost behind all of the dishes. It's more of a living room accouterment. If it played DVDs it would make its way into the bedroom.

What's really scary is... Sandy said that she really likes the TV.

Brian, I'll tell you what's weird. I click on the picture to enlarge it and I got a smaller picture. Go figure.

How to vote, how to vote. I vote yes, then Donna will be mad at me. I vote no, then Ed will be mad at me.

So I went with choice #3. :teeth:

Besides, Ed, I think it would work much better in your truck. It'll keep you from surfing the net while driving. ;)

I noticed the size discrepancy too. But you know us men... we always think things are bigger than they truly are.

I voted YES!
I have been thinking about that one for the computer room. ;)

I know she is going to be upset with me, but Ed, I LOVE it!! I think it will give just the right punch of color to the white and stainless steel.

Now see this is the thing, I can't vote without a review of the house decor. Will it go with the kitchen? Maybe in the bathroom? If you have that white, black, red and yellow Mickey bathroom ensemble......well, you see there is NO easy answer.

Please send pics, and that 360 degree house tour so I can get back to you! :p

I think it is just sooo cool...It can't go in the living room, we have a big screen there, the kitchen would be great, (we have a very large kitchen) if it will fit on the tv support, or someone mentioned the Bathroom??? We are putting a jacuoozie (I think I just killed the spelling) in the bathroom, we had one in our other house, w/ a tv in there, I just loved it, maybe it would be perfect for there...Oh these decisions...I do love it though, We will find a place, so not when he gets home I don't have to slug him...God is he lucky (this time;) )

I just have to know... where is that TV available from? :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Not that we really need another TV... ;)

Sandy

Ed,
I saw that TV the other day and definately I would buy it.
I stopped in at a Target store and they have a TV, DVD, Stereo, Alarm Clock Radio, clip on Am/FM radio with headphones (they are cute but suprisingly not Mickey ears) Telephone, and 2 way radios. they also have the same stuff in the Princess colors.
I hinted around for Mother's day but no one took me up on it.

How big is this TV? Do you have a place to put it in the kitchen? I vote do whatever Donna wants :)! She is the woman. Ed, you already established in other threads that women are always right - at least in a marriage (just ask Beauregard :) ). Therefore leave the decision to Donna!!

This is a real TV? You can actually BUY it somewhere? Wow. How cool. I guess there is nothing left that doesn't have Mickey ears attached to it. Donna, I would get Ed to wire one in every room of the house, just like the internet. Otherwise, he might end up spending too much time in the kitchen.

and they can hardly keep it in stock..it is 13", just perfect for a kitchen, den, bathroom living room, bedroom...oops, sorry, got carried away...andway when it is turned on, and you turn up the volume, goofy runs across the bottom carrying the volume tag, in the Princess TV set, Ariel swims across the bottom...look out ..all the little princess, and the big ones will be coveting that one too.. I know the ariel lover in our family is going to suck all the air out of the room when she sees that one...hmm..bd in October...

Some of the items are also available in a Buzz Lightyear color scheme. Both of my children (even the 4 yo) are campaigning for tvs in their bedrooms (which won't happen until they're old enough to buy them for themselves!) Circuit City has them, I didn't know you could also get them at Target. I'm trying to convince my husband that I need a new phone.....

I just came home with the Mickey TV! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
(It's a Memorex, according to the sales person.)

Did we start something here????? Disney should give us a commission..

I haven't seen what the Target cost is. $119.99 at Circuit City. They had a few left in the back. The saleperson said they have a hard time keeping them in stock.
It's pretty tall, but only because of the ears. ;)
And if you chose to not have the ears (speakers) attached, the sound comes from the smaller speakers at the bottom of the TV.

We rec'd a $100 gft cert for Circuit City at Christmas. We already bought a DVD player a few months ago. Too bad these items weren't out then. But this works out well for us anyway.

One thing that was funny -- when I called CC yesterday, the salesperson told me they had a Mickey and a Minnie TV. I thought -- WOW! Minnie. How neat!
Well, I think he really was referring to the Princess TV. I didn't see a Minnie and don't think there is one. ;)

They are all available on the Circuit City Website.

This is the perfect house warming gift for my Mickey house in Florida - (Could someone forward this message to my daughter or son).

I also am sure I need the DVD player for Florida, and the alarm clock.

Did you notice I said I need this and not want this.

They are a must have.

Darlene
