I think we will be getting in room baby sitting that night.

It is our 9th anniversary. I was thinking maybe California Grill with Fireworks. :wizard:

Any one else have a good idea? :lovestruc

Victoria and Albert's is a good one but it's tough to get reservations and it's very expensive!!

narcoosees - we ate there twice in october - what a beautiful restaurant! - lovely view, great service, excellent food - we had the crab cakes, scallops, lobster and the almond crusted cheesecake

we're going back this december - will have all the same there again, with the addition of a mini castle cake at dessert (for our 10th anniversary!)

We are doing the CG for our 25th anniversary in September. Have never been there, but read lots of good reports.

I love the food at CG, but the atmosphere now leaves something to be desired. It's become THE place for fireworks viewing, and it just seems to be too crowded and too noisy. It also has to be hard on the staff when people can only get an early reservation and then take over 3 hours to eat dinner. But there are definitely reasons to dine there, as long as you know what to expect. But it's no longer some place I would go for a romantic dinner.

Narcoosee's is probably a little bit better, but still suffers from some noise and crowds.

Victoria and Albert's is amazing and truly the kind of place I would go for a special occasion. From the intimate lighting to the huge floral display to the lovely harp music to service that makes you feel like royalty, you really can't beat it. If you're into fine dining and can get a reservation, I would suggest the early seating at V&A and then go find a spot on the beach at GF or Poly to watch the fireworks.

We just celebrated our 9th anniversary at Narcoossee's. We love Narcossee's. We always get a late reservation so we can see the fireworks. My DS fell asleep this time as soon as we were seated so we laid him across two of the seats and he slept the whole time. You wouldn't have even known he was there.

I think Citricos and Jiko are both romantic and great for an anniversary dinner. After Citricos you can head over to Poly to watch the fireworks on the beach or enjoy them right from the GF. I'd probably even more strongly recommend Jikos with a stroll throught the property at AKL before and/or after dinner. Just a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere (both AKL and the restaurant!)

You can't beat V&As for any occassion, but it is very expensive and may be more formal than you are looking for. Hard to tell, but if price is no object, this is THE place to celebrate.

Haven't been to Narcoossee's, but if you are looking for seafood, consider bluezoo or Flying Fish. Both are in the Boardwalk area (FF on the Boardwalk, bluezoo at the Dolphin), and a stroll around the boardwalk after a wonderful dinner would be an excellent anniversary celebration. You can then sneak a peak at Illuminations from the Boardwalk or if you have park hoppers, hop into EPCOT through the International Gateway and watch Illuminations from your favorite WS view, all while enjoying a dessert treat or after dinner drink from your favorite WS country! The more I type this, the more this is becoming my #1 recommendation!! :thumbsup2

Good luck with your Anniversary plans. Let us know what you decide!
