Hi Friends,
I haven't been to Disney in YEARS since the hot new item was paper Fast Passes. Planning a June 12-16th trip with a 4 day park hopper. There are so many websites now, touring plans, fast pass plus changes, magic bands, etc. Whew....here is where I am confused...
Soaring...closed until summertime but possibly reopening sooner? I can't find an actual opening date anywhere.
Star Wars fireworks? I read something on the Disney World site a month ago but it disappeared and now I can only find that it was a limited engagement thing last year at Disney Land?
Norway is going to be a new Anna/Elsa ride, can't find an opening date.
Something new happening at night at Animal Kingdom starting soon?? What is it?

None of these were listed as FP options when I logged on to FP plus at 12:01 am on day T-60. So confused about how to get this information. Am I missing something or are these all unknowns? Also, mydisneyexperience.com site hasn't worked in days and now I am freaking out.

Thank you...I don't see anything for the RIver of Light/Jungle Book show, or anything about the Star Wars fireworks though...AK is still listed as closing at 7 pm

The Star Wars fireworks show will happen (should be starting on 6/5) but there's no firm date on that.
RoL at AK is delayed indefinitely with the Jungle Book show taking its place but no official times have been announced for THAT either. That should be starting first week of June as well.

There are NO FPs for the fireworks and there probably won't be FPs for the Jungle Book either (they are planning on dinner events but no firm info on that either!)

I'd say block out the evenings for the fireworks or evening shows and then jump on any rsvp's/dinner parties if/when they become available (on the bright side you'll be in the same position as everyone else)

The actual dates for those aren't published yet. The Disney Parks blog is a great place to find updated information on when attractions/shows are starting. They posted an article today about many of the new attractions this summer, but no dates.

Ahhhhh....June 17th on Soaring, huh? Bummer. We are going to do ..

MK- June 12th Sun
Epcot- June 13th Mon
DAY OFF TO RELAX- 14TH
HS- June 15th Wed
AK-June 16th-Thursday
Depart Friday, June 17th.

I picked those days in the park based on park crowd calendars, which I am just now hearing aren't so accurate any more but those FPs for those parks on those days I already booked. Heck, we'll just see how it goes. Somehow we used to go and enjoy Disney without all this crazy technology.
