I need some "Pixie Dust"

I just found out that my DD is having her fourth son in January. This makes 5 grandsons for me and my DH, but, so far 0 grandaughters. Everything on the ultra sound is fine and I know that is what is important, but I am still sad that this time the baby is not a girl. It looks like I will never have a little princess to take to CRT. Thanks for letting me vent.

Aw, boys are so bad! We took DS(19) to CRT last year and he came out with more lipstick on his face than I did!!!!

I have the crown prince (oldest male) and only princess in the family. Way too much testosterone at get togethers! I hope to have a granddaughter one of these days.

Our family also has "too many" boys; nine (and one more on the way) boy cousins and only two girls. The pressure is on me to have a girl. The only member of my generation not to produce offspring yet.
We'll just have to keep trying

Don't give up! My MIL had 6 grandsons before she had a granddaughter...who they spoiled rotten. Forgot about the boys after she was born....can you tell I have a son? Anyway, they had another grandson who will be 3 next week and they think he hung the moon! They only have one granddaughter and she is soo spoiled, but we all love her. I hope I have a granddaughter also, but I hope I don't anytime soon since my DS is only 15.

Be thankful you have some healthy, beautiful grandsons, but don't give up. You might get a nice surprise one day!

Don't get me wrong, I dearly love my grandsons, ages 4, 3, 14 months, and 4 1/2 months (my son's baby). And I really do spoil them. And we do have a PS for CRT in October, but I'm tired of buying trains and trucks and safari animals (my 3yo gs can't get enough of these figures). I want to buy PINK baby clothes and Princess dresses and dolls. Sorry, I am ranting again.

I understand your feelings and we all know that you love your grandsons dearly. You just want a little princess to dress up. We all know boys usually don't like that sort of thing..LOL!
