I need some odeas for the 100 days of school..

i teach second grade and a co worker of mines grandson came in with a shirt on that his mom had made -100 tiny pictures of the child done on the computer and transferred onto the shirt-awesome

Funny you should mention the pennies. In the instructions my DS teacher sent home about the project she wrote on it that pennies do not stick to posterboard. I guess they have had some problems with that one in the past. What we ended up with was not so much creative but thrifty. I have just finished a large 1 1/2 year scrapbooking album project and have a tons of scraps. We decided to use up some of that extra paper and used my circle punches to do 100 different size and color circles.

My DD did something similar when she was in kindergartern - except she made hearts. Most with my heart punches, and some big hearts without punches.

DS had his 1st last year and we hot glued googly eyes to a t-shirt and wrote something like "we saw 100 days of school" or something to that idea.

This year I think he is doing 100 football cards but we haven't nailed it down yet.

DD wants to bring 100 strawberries - yummy snack too!!! She is a HUGE Strawberry Shortcake fan so this is why she picked that.

DS loves legos and we have lots. When he was in 2nd grade we hot glued 100 Legos to a t shirt...very cute!!!!! Another year DD made a picture of a rainbow and flowers using 100 M&M's hot glued to posterboard.

Use something your child likes that will be unique.
