Note: You may think I am the biggest wimp ever. Please don't reply anything negative.

OK. Well we were going to go to a little roadside parked truck that was selling fresh produce. Corn, tomatoes, cantelope, the sort. Well as soon as we parked, this guy, probably 14/15 years old, sorta started to rush towards us but then stopped. Trying really hard to help. He was just very helpful. We were originally just going to buy corn, but my mom then decided to get some tomatoes, for my dad, but also that guy was working so hard. He then brings it to me who is sitting in the car. 6 pieces of corn, 4/5 tomatoes for $7. When we start to drive away, he starts to go to the Taco Bell that is right near where they are parked.

I then get it in my head that he is not happy working all the time. I feel that what I call working is picking up rocks around our pool. OUR POOL! I really feel sorry for him, but there is nothing to be sorry about. I take it that he loves what he is doing. I was in wally world with my mom, and we were just talking about how I thought he was not happy, but my mom said he was. I believe her, but now I am mad at myself for thinking that he was not happy. I'll admit it, on our way home, I just broke down and started crying. I have so much, and it is like we want more all the time. I feel like I am just so blessed, and I don't know what to do.

It brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Thank you for reading and feel free to post. I had to get that off my chest. Hopefully you all will understand. Thank you.

Aw, well the only thing I can say is just be thankful of everything and take nothing for granted.
When your mom or whoever does something nice for you or gets you something always be grateful and say thank you.

I'm not sure I understand. You are upset he has a job he seems to not like?

I guess that was just the premise for what I want to say.

I have so much. I feel bad about it.

That's what I was trying to say.

*arm hugs*
Im so sorry.
I understand EXACTLY how you feel.
We are spending thousands of dollars right now getting our backyard done, I feel like such a jerk, Its a backyard, no one can see it or look at it, whats the point of spending thousands of dollars just to get something that "looks nice" done when people are starving/dont have anything and dont need something that "looks nice" but just to get by.

So I think I get what youre saying.

Aw.

We all just have to be grateful for what we have and not take things for granted. People nowadays dont seem to understand it.

Soon Mouse is going to have her own show like Dr. Phil.

Except it will be called Dr. Mouse and you have to tell Mouse your problems while riding Space Mountain.

Thanks for the support everyone!

I to totally understand your feelings of hurt for this guy. Like the others have said we take so much for grantedand there are others who really have to work hard to feed themselves. What I try to do is be thankful for everythign and also I try not to ever waste.

dont feel bad for him.
if he's selling the produce, he more than likely grew it.
which means he has a skill
and probably a profession for the rest of his life.
cause people always need food.
he's not working cause he doesnt have anything.
i work. that doesnt mean im poor.
dont feel bad for me.
and dont feel bad for him.
