Here is a link to my thread that I am talking about:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=159893
When I try to update my thread, my WebTV turns off. I'm pretty sure it is because my WebTV has met its maximum memory, because the thread has become so long.
I'm not exactly sure what I'm talking about, but I'll give it a try.
My WebTV cannot download any information, but it does have a hard disk that, I think might act like a cache in a regular computer.
I can read other threads and and I can still make posts on other threads, but when I try to update/edit my very long DIS-CON-II thread, my WebTV cuts off after typing a few letters.
I guess that I could go to the libray once a week and use a real computer to update/edit this thread, but I was wondering if I could split up the thread into at least three different posts.
The first being an outline with links to every thing else.
The second to a list of names.
The third, which is by far the longest, is the list of mini-meets. I just thought that I could that maybe I could divide this even more into three or four posts.
In theory, I'm thinking that when I update/edit each post in the thread, that it will require less cache memory in my WebTV.
What do you techies think?
Just a reminder, that WebTV does not have a download capability. It doesn't use floppy disks, or CD disks or DVD or any attachment like that.
Any suggestions? I hate having to wait once a week to go to the library to use a regular, normal computer to update/edit this thread.
Thank you in advance, RaySharpton
