I need some help with figuring this out - Pin Code Offer

We are planning a trip to WDW for around Thanksgiving. I received a PIN Code and the dates it is good for are 10/11–11/23/10 and 11/28–12/16/10.

We will be in Gainesville for Drs. appt for DD on 11/22 & 23 (Mon & Tue). We could check in either later 11/23 or 11/24 and planned on staying until the next Friday 12/3.

If we check in on 11/23 could we use the PIN Code for the entire stay or what is the best way to take advantage of the discounts. Could we do 2 different reservations??

Any thoughts or suggestions???

You can't use the PIN for the dates you are looking to check in. You can do a split reservation, where you pay rack rate for the first part of the trip, and then have the PIN for the second part of the trip.

You can also keep an eye out for any specials that MIGHT come out for the week of Thanksgiving, and see about getting them applied later. The key word is MIGHT... Disney doesn't typically give any discounts over the holidays.

Yeah...you're kind of out of luck. The exact days you go seem to be blackout dates, so you won't find any availability for those days. You probably won't have much luck waiting for a different discount later either.
Could you do the trip the week before the Drs. appointment?

No we can't go the week before - DD has off school for a few days the week after Thanksgiving and it cuts her time missed in 1/2.

Could we do 2 seperate reservations so the we would at least save on part of the trip?? Maybe check out and then check back in?? Would they make us move to different rooms??

Weren't you trying desparately to get a PIN a couple weeks ago? If so, how in the world did you finally get one? I've been saving vacations, deleting them, re-entering different ones and NOTHING!!

As far as your situation with the dates...the other posters are correct. You wouldn't be able to use the PIN code for the dates you really need. I know how hard it is to take the kids out of school...that is why we want to go so bad in June.

I had been hoping for a PIN Code, but not sure I posted about it. The only thing I have been doing is checking the WDW website and saved a couple offers - then received an email saying they noticed that I was interested in a certain resort and showed a Picture and link to check it out and included the code and dates.
