Hi everyone. The reason I'm posting is this. I'm planning a surprise trip for my husband (Nov 23 - Nov 30). Neither of us have been to US or IOA, so I'm clueless on what we should do, where we should eat, etc. I have found lots of good advise by reading other posts, but now I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed. I'm wanting to plan everything out and have tickets and ressies ready for when I surprise him. Get this, I won't be telling him until the day before we leave if I can pull this off. Right now he thinks we are taking a vacation somewhere else and not as exciting. As of today the only thing I have planned is our hotel reservations at the Marriotts Grande Vista.
Please oh Please help me!!!!

Thanks everyone!
Newbie, PrincessTori.

Hi, Tori and Welcome:

You can get any question you want answered here and in a little book called Universal Orlando: The Ultimate Guide" written by resident poster and know it ALL kelly monaghan.

The information on these boards CAN be overwhelming but kelly's book can put it all in common sense. I found it priceless for my last trip.

Any special questions you can post away here. You will find the people on this site to be more than able to supply you with any and all the answers you need!

Again, welcome! :bounce:

What a nice surprise!:bounce:
I agree with Robin...run and get that book! We used it for our first trip and I bought the new version for our next trip. It was our Universal/IOA bible! After you read it highlight what appeals to you and come do a search here for even more info. Between the 2 you will soon be feeling like a pro before you even get there:)

Thank you both. I got the book yesterday and I'm starting to feel like I have some control now. I've even made headway on our itnerary. Either going to do 2 or 3 days at US and IOA, and I've ordered my tickets for MVMCP at WDW on the first night 11/29. Really excited about seeing all the holiday decorations! I've also seen on this post that there is a space shuttle launch scheduled for that night. I'm also considering making ressies for dinner at Emerils and Lunch at Mythos. Plus we are big Parrot Heads, so a night at Margaritaville is a must.
My Husband is going to be so surprised!!!!
A million Thanks,
PrincessTori
