I need some good mascara recommendations!

Money is no object, I just need one that won't flake all over the place, clump up, and doesn't make me look like a streetwalker! I much prefer subtle.

Waterproof is optional but I guess it would be nice. Although now that I think about it, I just bought a waterproof one that ended up clumping up all over the place while I was applying it, and of course by the time I went back to fix it, it had dried, I was no longer able to dab it away with my wet q-tip anymore.

So maybe NOT waterproof...?

I really love the Estee Lauder Turbolash. I also use the lash primer. I used to think mascara was pretty much all the same, but then I tried the Turbolash. Love it! My eyelashes look so good with it on.

I'll stand by Great Lash any day. I've used it all... I even have a tube of Clinique that I never touch.

I bought Clinique primer and mascera last night, it is wearing great today!!!!

I really like how Great Lash looks, but to take it off is a pain. It leaves terrible black marks under my eyes when I wash my face. Even when I do get it off at night, I wake up the next morning with more black under my eyes.

I started using Buxom (by Bare Escentuals) and really like it. A lot of mascaras irritate my eyes but this one doesn't. And it looks good too.

I have very deep-set eyes, so mu eyelashes touch the area right under my eyebrows. This results in constantly having black marks from the mascara rubbing off. I tried waterproof mascaras to see if that would help, but they just flaked so I had tiny black particles under my eyes by afternoon.

I have finally found something that works for me--Estee Lauder's Double Wear mascara. It looks natural, stays on, and doesn't clump. I just remove it with Estee Lauder's eye makeup remover.

I swear by Voluminous by Loreal. I saw a documentary on Tammy Faye Baker where she said it was what she used. LOL! My lashes don't look like hers; I think she put it on by the tube. It comes in a waterproof formula that says it thickens lashes up to 4 times whereas the non-waterproof formula thickens up to 5 times.

Get Pond's Cold Cream to remove waterproof mascara and liner gently. It's the best make-up remover there is, and it's inexpensive too.

I love love love DiorShow in BlackOut. I also use Benefit BadGal in brown sometimes. DiorShow is obviously more dramatic. Neither mascara clumps or flakes. They really stay put.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Clinique's Lash Power Mascara Long Wearing Formula. It only comes off with hot water, so you'll be good to go!

I LOVE DiorShow! It's my absolute favorite. Blinc Kiss Me Mascara is a very close second.

I really like Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara....I've tried tons of masacaras, and this one I really love!

I'm glad you asked this question, OP! I've been having a heck of a time finding one that works and doesn't give me raccoon eyes. I need waterproof or no smudge...trying to find a good stay put eyeliner has been a pain too!

This is what I use. I have been using it for years. Every once in a while someone on here talks about a great mascara and I go out and buy it. I always go back to Lancome. Really love this mascara.
