Hello all! I was bit with the Disney bug a few years ago while planning a trip with friends and remain pretty addicted, but I don't really have any friends to share it with. I end up taking solo trips to Disney World, not necessarily because I enjoy going alone (though it has it's advantages!) but because my friends and family don't have the money or the time off. I'll be heading down in October next to do a day at the Food & Wine Festival and attend the MNSSHP for the first time, and I'm very excited about that!

One of the things that I liked the most about Disney is when, doing research for that first trip, I Googled "Disney World tips" it opened a whole world of Disney people online that wrote blogs and books and did podcasts and all seemed to know each other, and I was fascinated by the whole community of it all. But until now, I hadn't really joined a community like this myself, and I would like to! I love to learn, ergo, I love to learn about Disney, so I love to read books and blogs and websites--I tend to keep up with Allearsnet.com, the Disney Food Blog, the official Disney parks blog, the touring plans folks and Tom Bricker's blogs. I also love travelling in general and roller coasters and amusement parks, but nothing compares to Disney!

So, if anyone reads this, I do have a few questions:
How do you see new threads on the boards? Just by hanging out in an area of interest and seeing what's at the top? I don't want to be off in a corner when the real party is happening somewhere else...
Also, is there a good iphone app for reading and posting? I think I saw a couple for vbulletins, but I haven't downloaded anything yet.

Anyway, I'll poke around and see what I can see, but I thought I would say hello first!

We have a trip planned for November along with a cruise on the fantasy, This will be our 4th Disney cruise and have been to Disneyworld multiple times over the years, but there is always something new to see.
