I need some clip art help

Let's say I find a picture or clip art image I want to use for making window clings.

I want to make the image larger. When I do the picture becomes distorted or blurry. What am I doing wrong or how can I enlarge the image without the clarity of the image being ruined?

you can't enlarge small pics unless they have a high res..

They get distorted like that..

Perhaps post the pic and maybe we could help find a bigger version of the same thing?

Thanks, but I guess I can do that as well. I was hoping there was something simple I could do. I have a lot I want to work with. I'd be posting pics for days. I'm working with 81/2X11 window cling sheets.

I just am looking to make a pirates themed birthday cling for my son Matthew's 10th birthday.

Something for my daughter Malorie (2) because she loves princesses.

And one for my other son Zachary (8). A boyish thriller or Star Wars theme.

If you use google image search try filtering for large pics first..
