IMO take Kyra with you. That way you won't get chance to be depressed or sad, nor will you feel guilty about leaving her at home. Not that I would begrudge you an 'adult' trip for some me-time or the chance to do scary rides but seeing as you're going with your brother in September you'll have the chance to do those then.

At least my brother and his GF wont begrudge doing baby swap in September.

I think i'm going to take Kyra. Your right her little face wont make me depressed, someone needs to enjoy the trip might aswell be her.
