$16 would have been unreasonable if the seller intended to send the pins in one package. However, we'll never know as the sale never got that far. The seller reserves the right to not combine four separate transaction items into one package.

Hopefully the OP learned an important lesson. Ask questions before you bid! Don't just assume that one particular seller will have the same shipping rules simply because "everyone else does." If the seller wanted to allow combined shipping, he would have stated it.

Everyone makes mistakes, though. Better luck with your next auction.
