I am currently scheduled to leave Reno Friday the 13th for Orlando, but have already decided to reschedule to either late Saturday or early Sunday. Late Saturday will arrive in Orlando at 10pm and early Sunday will arrive Orlando at 5pm.
I can change my tix for free with the airline only once, so I want the change to count the first time! Of course I want to get there ASAP but was wondering what those of you who know more about such things would recommend.
According to weather channel as I write this, Charley will hit Friday afternoon. If we get there Saturday night, at least 24 hours will have passed from current predicted arrival.
What might be expected in terms of weather 24 hours after Charley hits that will affect WDW?
Would it be more prudent to leave Sunday, thus arriving 2 days after predicted arrival?
I have to change my flight plans no later than 8am on Friday morning, Pacific time.
We are going to be there until the 27th, so 1-2 days difference won't be a vacation buster, but my DD is SO sad, (me too!) we wanna get started on the fun fun fun....
Any help is appreciated.
