My best suggestion would be to skip MK, and use the monorail to ride over to one of the finer resort dining destinations.

The MK would not be my first choice since the possibilities are better elsewhere. However, the Crystal Palace is really nice, although we've enjoyed it most at lunch and it is a buffet. And Liberty Tree is nice too; the meal at dinner is served family-style.

We just booked Tonys. Yes i have seen a lot of bad reviews, but the menu looks the best, and it would be less hectic than a character meal. We are staying at the Poly and chose this over Ohanas, just becuase of timing.

i totally agree. MK food is themepark food - hop on the monorail to kona cafe and have a nice meal in a great atmosphere!

We usually do not eat at MK but last summer we ate at Tony's Town sq. because it was Father's Dya and we let my FIL pick. It was a lot better than most the reviews imo!
