Ugh. I hate assignments like this.

I'm working on the last assignment (YAY!!) for my Data Structures class, and it's basically to write a kind of phone book (only the names aren't in order, go figure :p )

Well, we're supposed to come up with a list of at least 10 names and phone numbers, then add a couple more in the process of the program's operation.

I *HATE* coming up with lists of names.

Well, having just come back from Disneyland, I'm trying to give all the names a Disney origin.

This is what I have so far:

Mouse,Mickey 714-118-1928
Disney,Walt 714-125-1901
Land,Disney 714-717-1955
Dog,Pluto 714-905-1930
Kingdom,Magic 409-125-1971
White,Snow 931-221-1937
Pan,Peter 930-205-1953
Beauty,Sleeping 930-129-1959

Any suggestions for more names and numbers? (And extra points to anyone who can identify how I came up with some of the phone numbers -- they all have a significance of some sort. ;) )

I need about 3 more names and numbers, but I'm drawing a blank on anything else that would fit.

Ella, Cindy or Cinder
Dawg, Dippy or Goofy
Hatter, Mad

I think the last four numbers are either birthdates, years that places opened or characters were created. For the places (ie WDW, WDL, could that be the area code for their location? As for the rest of the numbers I am not sure.

I have some name suggestions, but no phone numbers. How about:

Bell, Tinker
Pooh, Winnie
Rella, Cindy

Good luck on your project.

Pretty sharp!

Yep, the last 4 digits are always years. Either birthdates, opening year, or the year of their first appearance.

For the places, the first 3 digits are the area code for that park, and the next 3 are the day and month they opened (though I had to shorten MK's opening month). For the rest, the first 2 digits are 9 (w) and 3 (d) -- short for Walt Disney, of course. :) And the next 4 digits are the month and day they premiered. For the most part, anyway -- I didn't use that scheme on the first couple.

Okay, I've added two more to the list, including one that will test having the same phone number.

Hmm... maybe I should add Minnie so I can test the condition of having the same *last* name but different *first* names?

Why do I always have to make these assignments more difficult than the assignment wants. ;)

Rajah,
"409" is a Beach Boy song!! Sorry couldn't resist but I'm sure that what you were thinking when you made such a silly mistake.;) :p

LOL! It's also the area code that we call to get pizza. We're right on the border between two area codes, so it's not long distance (thank goodness) but we have to dial a different area code to order our pizza!
