I need my D&D Coffee in the am.......

I can't walk by a DD without getting at least a small coffee - I just like the aroma and holding it. I guess I'm addicted, but that doesn't explain why I enjoy the Disney coffee...go figure! :scratchin

I never drink coffee, in fact, I don't drink too much caffeine really. Hubby...seriously addicted. I told him what everyone was saying about the coffee at WDW and the DD outside the resort...he said we have to get a rental car now.

I think that someone called Disney coffee "SWILL. That is perfect. We are DVC members and always bring and make our own coffee. On our last trip in December we got started really early EE @ MK 8 AM. Decided to have coffee at MK, what a BIG mistake, with lots of milk and sugar the taste was awful.

1 807 W VINE ST, KISSIMMEE, FL 34741, 407-933-2545 1.22 M

This one's a haul down a very busy stop and go traffic route.

2 1935 EAST OSCEOLA PKWY, BUENA VENTURA LAKES, FL 34743, 407-348-7822 6.90 M

This one's a haul and a half.

3 13781 S. JOHN YOUNG PKWY, ORLANDO, FL 32837, 407-240-3737 8.06 M

By the time you fight the traffic to get there it will be tie for lunch.

4 5341 W IRLO BRONSON MEMORIAL H, KISSIMMEE, FL 34746, 407-397-1998 9.86 M

This one's also quite a haul, although I think if you take the Osceola Pkwy and pay the toll it won't be quite as far.

5 4004 13TH ST, SAINT CLOUD, FL 34769, 407-892-9424 10.41 M

Might as well go to the one on John Young.

The closest one is on S Apopka Vineland Rd. Take Hotel Plaza Road to the end, turn left, go about 1/2 mile, I want to think it's on the right, but that part I could be wrong.

You are right....you are wrong.......it's on the left coming from Hotel Plaza Rd. : :)

We just returned from WL. Great time, but drove to Dolphin every morning for a cup of Starbucks. We were amazed at the lousy coffee and terrible paper products. After the first day, we made a trip to buy toilet paper and kleenex. I'm sorry but c'mon guys...upgrade your amenities~

Funny you should say that... That's the first thing we bought for the cabin (and I made SURE we brought the pack with us to POR when we were evacuated.)

We spend $$$ for our vacations with Disney and all they give us is TP thinner and stiffer than tracing paper. Ick.

Of course the kitchen isn't the place for such talk. Let's start a thread about toilet paper!!! :rotfl:

hellooo fellow maniah's and fellow coffee lovers too!!! :wave2:
ok here is the "scoop" i found "real" coffee at a few places on site.
nothing in the room at POP but,.....in the little bookstoreish gift shop next to sci-fi diner at mgm, and at 2 kiosks at WS in epcot. by the end of the days we were in those parks the cast members knew me by maine. "ayuh" they did. :rotfl:

and yes the waters are going to rise....7pm saturday until 7pm sunday is our crest times!!

ok i am off to make a pot of java!!!

Correct it is right outside of the Downtown Disney Hotel area. As you leave Disney property the Crossroads shopping center is directly across the street. Instead of going straight turn left Dunkin Donuts is about 1/4 mile on the left. If you had turned right you would have hit I-4, just to give you another landmark.

Thanks for the directions. I am not a huge coffee drinker, but some mornings a good cup of DD or starbucks coffee really hits the spot.

Your welcome!

It's only a matter of time before STARBUCKS makes their way onto Disney property! I NEVER thought I'd EVER see McDees there...and LOOK AT DTD!!! :cool1: :goodvibes Just goes to show...you can NEVER say NEVER!!
;)

Thank you to all that replied. There is hope for us coffee drinker's. I think we are just going to buy a 4 cupper and leave it in box/take travel packets of DnD and pack both in suitcase. Hopefully buy H2O in litre bottles when we get down there, as to not get liquid all over stuff in suitcase......... ::MickeyMo

"ayuh" to all fellow Mainer's on the board that replied. Good luck to any that are in Flood watch areas this weekend. We plugged in our SumpPump and removed all of the stuff that might get potentially wet in our basement. The rain is really coming down in our area, Lisbon Falls.

:sad2:

Now I am not the normal coffee drinker. I need to be pointed in the direction of the mocha frappacino! Can't make it in a 4 cupper! Where can I get one of these and are they as good as Starbucks?

Coffee bar in the CR, also in various locations in Epcot (open kiosks) and other parks. No...none are as good as Starbucks frap., which is why I drive off-property to one of the numerous Starbucks now conveniently located in Orlando near WDW prop!! Here's a link to most of the Starbucks locations...http://www.starbuckseverywhere.net/Orlando.htm (some offer convenient drive-through windows~!). :goodvibes I buy starbucks dark roast espresso beans while in Florida, to use in my travel press (purchased @ starbucks). I have some special italian pods too...works very well. At different locations, I use a blender and fashion my own FRAPP! The chocolate powder used in this beverage is sold in cans at any location. :flower: Enjoy!! :wizard:

Mainemom-welcome to the DIS from another from the Great State of Maine! We found if you put enough milk in the WDW coffee it was tolerable, but I'm sure glad to know there's a Dunkin Donuts not far! Although this year we'll be going "home" so had planned to take our coffee with us. I' another one who can't function until I've had at least 1 cup in the AM.

::yes::It comes in a 10 oz can, "Starbuck's Mocha Powder"!!

Just add it to a couple/few shots of hot espresso, add a shot or two of cream (to your liking), top with whip and you have the famed MOCHA beverage from Starbucks (make mine a VENTI please!). Add some crushed ice...blend...and VOILA~~A MOCHA FRAPPACINO is BORN! MMMMmmm! :flower:

They sell just about everything in their stores, to make the beverages they sell (Believe me...I buy it all, from the peppermint flavoring to the gingerbread). Be sure to give it a whirl...it's delicious (but also addicitve!).

There is a Starbucks at the Dolphin!?!?!? Oh my! I had no idea what I was missing. I went coffeeless the whole trip beacuse I couldn't have my Starbucks :)

I will be staying at the BWV's. If they have mocha frappacinos at the Dolphin I will be in Heaven! Anyone know for sure?

Thanks Dreamflight99! I am soooooo going out and buying some of that powder. Except now it will be to easy to have frappacinos 2,3 or even4 times a day!!
