I need itinerary help - pretty please

I'm really glad the Buffalo suggestion looks like it could work out for you :)

I think 2 nights in/near Niagara will be plenty. We only had one night in Niagara, flew in late afternoon and flew out early evening the next day. We did the Maid of the Mist, the attractions/movie at the visitor centre, ate lunch, wandered around the park and then had time to do some shopping in the afternoon before we drove back to Buffalo airport for our 6pm flight to Orlando.

Whatever you do be prepared with a change of clothes ( or be prepared to go back to your hotel to change) after the Maid of the Mist. Even with the ponchos on we got very, very wet!

In Boston, we ate at Cheers near Fanueil Hall - the place was packed as it was Columbus Day weekend but we enjoyed it. I have a couple of cute photos of me with Norm and Frasier :) ( Life size cardboard cut-outs)

I'd love to go back to Boston, hope you enjoy it!

Then why doesn't it feel easy :lmao:.

Just remember - you've never been to Toronto. So you won't miss anything. ;)

And it's winter anyway when you go...so you might as well head to Niagara, enjoy the ice and snow on both sides of the border (remember to bring you passports with you for the border crossing) and then head indoors to the Clifton Hill attractions. :thumbsup2

:scratchin If I recall correctly, there are two indoor water slides in Niagara. I wonder if they are heated and/or opened during winter?

I definitely have you to thank for the Buffalo suggestion so I thank you profusely for that. We won't be doing the Maid of the Mist because we will be there in January and it doesn't run because much of the water is frozen but having looked at beautiful images of Niagara Falls in winter I feel very happy with a winter experience. We can apparently still do the "behind the falls" portion so that makes me happy.

It's such a weird thing. I feel funny that we are only spending 5 nights in Quebec City and then 2 in Niagara Falls. It feels embarrassing to even tell people we are going to Canada, just doesn't seem long enough???? I know i shouldn't be worrying about what other people think and I guess I don't really but somewhere inside me I'm thinking should we be adding a few days in Montreal or doing something else? Even though I know Quebec is much mor4 quaint and up our alley than Montreal and that Toronto is just another city. Sigh, I feel strange about it all. :sad2:

You really shouldn't feel that way or worry about what other people think. It's your holiday and you're choosing to spend time to go where you and the family want to go. Afterall, don't "other people" think it is strange that you're going back to Disney???

Yeah I know, you are right. I think in some weird way I am disappointed we aren't seeing more of Canada but honestly when thinking about the East Coast, I think Quebec and Niagara Falls are the main places I want to see. It's a weird thing that is hard to explain. I would like to visit the Westcoast another time and see Banff, Vancouver and the Rockies but that is a whole other trip.
