DS (13) wants a pair of wireless headphones for his iPod touch. The ones he wrote down (Altec lansing bacbeat 903 wireless stereo headphones) are out of stock at Amazon. I don't have an iPod and know nothing about them, so I'm not getting anywhere trying to find a replacement.
He claims certain kinds won't work with his iPod, and mentioned some $10 upgrade he did a few months ago that will support the use of them. He doesn't want me to spend more than $75 on them because he has other things on his list.
I think this gift was inspired by a hatred of the wires when he's out running, so withstanding sweat would be more important than avoiding a behind-the-head design.
Can anybody give me help before I have to go back to him again and reveal my ignorance? :flower3:

Its a bluetooth upgrade, i got it as well and use a motorola headset I got on ebay, i think about any bluetooth enabled head set should workm this is what I got motorola s9

I think I saw those motorolas when I was looking around-some mentioned needing an adaptor, too? Or is that not needed if you did the upgrade? And do they cut out on you? Some of the reviewers had issues..

I got the 903's at our AT&T store. They were $99.99 though.
