I need ideas for a beach wedding at Vero

My DD Sandy would like to have a wedding on the beach at Vero beach next year.

We are 1500 miles away so the guest list would be under 25 and likely the only child will be 1 year old. .

I plan on having the reception in a Beach house if available or at Sonyas

I have no idea how to decorate for the wedding. My daughter wants it on the beach. I am just not good at decorating.

One idea is Cabana style tent, but not sure why or how we would use it. Another idea is to purchase a beach chair for each guest.

I would suggest calling VB (407) 939-7775 and talk to them. I would imagine this is not an uncommon event. Probably could give you the name of a planning service nearby.

I have called Vero about a year ago. They do not have any "On the Beach" wedding that they conduct. The lady I talked to said that they could set up something inside one of the meeting rooms. We want the actual wedding on the beach. She said we would need to do those plans ourself.

I know I read someone on the Disney wedding thread on DIS wrote about having their wedding at VB. The resort helped them out, I believe they had it on the lawn. They were also told "no beach".

You might try google for Vero Beach Wedding Planners, and contact them to see how much they charge. It would be worth just calling one person than trying to find a florist/musicians/officiant yourself.

I just saw a special about weddings at Disney. I know that it was 100% focussed on WDW property events, but if you called them, they may help you out with something at Vero, or point you to someone who can.

I was hoping they could refer you to someone. I know they won't do anything on the beach themselves because the beach is (as are all U.S. coastal beaches) public domain, and it is not a part of the resort property. I have seen a wedding take place in the lawn area behind the resort with the ocean as the background and I have seen a wedding take place in the lawn area on the north end of the property.

If you look at this interactive image you can see the lawn areas pretty clearly and in fact you can zoom in one more X. You can rotate the image by clicking on the round arrows.
