I need help

So i was dating this guy Tony for a long time in sixth grade and we dated again twice over the summer going into seventh grade, so i was him girlfriend three times and now were in eighth grade and were friends like best friends. My problem is i think i might like him again, but he has a girlfriend and i hate her so much and he knows it too. But he doesn't like me anymore. I know this because my friend made a joke about us hooking up again and i said no eventhough i wanted to say yes, but he also said no i don't like Jess. I can't tell him that i like him because i don't want to ruin our friendship. I never want to lose him as a friend but i want more, and he doesn't. What should i do about this i have no idea???????

Ohmyjeeze. I have basically the story. Except my guy doesn't have a girlfriend, we've never dated and he's not in my grade. But we ARE best friends and his name is Tony!

Well I don't have much advise for you since i'm in the same place but I'll keep checking this thread for advice for me as well.

You have 2 options:

1) Tell him how you feel. He is your friend. He will listen to you and respect everything you say.

2) Appreciate the relationship you have with him. I don't know him, therefore I don't know how he would react to #1. Maybe he would get really offended and you would completely lose all contact with him.

Well... I'm the other girl you guys are helping on this thread. So what happens if you email them about number 1 and they don't say anything back? What do you think I should do? Approach him about it? My friend thinks he might like me, and he's just shy. I seriously doubt that.

Thats what i said to you, some guys are just as shy about asking a girl out, just like girls are shy asking a guy out.
