Offer to sleep on his room for a while, untill he gets used to it. When he does, move back into your own room.

uhh, well, see, if you have been doing it for 3 years the kid is probably used to it, and most likely will not accept one night all of the sudden expected to sleep in his room by himself... i suggest:

1.) wait for him to fall asleep then put him in his own bed but quietly and carefully so he doesn't wake up...

2.) look at AmoDolphin's post...

yeah...i can see where ur stuck...i would look at AmoDolphin's post & Tinkerbell 12's post & sleep in his room and then when he falls asleep leave.

thankx, i tried that but he still wakes up in the middle of the night and comes in my room. maybe there is no way.

Tell him that the ghosts and kidnappers decided to move to your room.

hmm... why don't you ask him to sleep with your parents? xD sorry, but when i was a kid, if i was scared i'd go see my parents. i would never go to my brother. i would wake them up, they'd get me a drink, and my mom would lay in my bed with me until i fell asleep.
why should you be burdened? isn't it your parents responsibility to look after him, not yours?

ok, so he has his own room. he has his own bed. but does he have a dream catcher? maybe if you start it as a project with him, and then hang it in his room, maybe you could have your room back!

Ghosts - dream catcher.. my parents told me that as long as i had this in my room the ghosts and bad dreams couldn't get me... obviously the dream catcher is just meant for dreams... but hey.. it worked
Kidnappers - have him lock up the house every night and if there is a window in his room have him lock that too.

but tell him there will be no more sleeping in your room.
Offer to sleep in his room till he falls asleep but thats it.
My brother is 13 and still wants to sleep in my room every so often.
but i tell him no.

Well when I was little and scared my parents would put up my "ghost alarm" aka a big jumble of chains hanging on my door knobs so that if there was a ghost or any other supernatural presence I could hear it. Needless to say the alarm never went off and I wasn't afraid any more. you should try it.

that's a good idea......

My best friend had the same problem with her nephew. Read a couple stories to him, check under the bed and in the closet and then lay with him until he falls asleep. Everynight, leave his room a little earlier until he gets used to not seeing you there. Good Luck!!
