I knew you all would be the best to ask:thumbsup2

We're not going until January, but it's never too soon to start, right?? :woohoo:

I've tried to open some of the posted links of spreadsheets, but I don't have Word, so I can't get them. :confused3

So, if anyone here likes to plan (I see there might be a few LOL) I'd appreciate your ideas!!

Here's our lineup: My family (me, dh, 3 dd's and 1 ds (10, 8, 6, 4) likes the more laid back approach to Disney...sleep until the kids wake up, wander, people watch, go on whatever rides strike us at the time, etc...not real formal scheduling. I would, however like to have some plan to avoid waiting for meals, esp. since by the time we need to eat, we need to eat (as in...the kids are more than restless, and parents are cranky  )

So, would anyone mind giving me a pared down schedule? Mostly ADR's, not so much rides. We're thinking about a 7 day trip, (including travel days), 5 day park pass (hopper) with a coast day thrown in. I know EMH will change things around. We will have the basic dining plan, and I'd like to do more character meals this time. (Last time we did lunch at CRT. Dh, DD#1, and DS would like to skip that this year, so a different princess meal is necessary for the other 2 dd's LOL). MK is a must for day 1. We're thinking Epcot for 2 days this time, AK, and MGM (or DHS), which we missed last time, 1 day each.

Does this make sense?

I appreciate your opinions!!

Thanks a ton!!!! :flower3:

May be I will sound you stupid :rotfl: but it works quite well for us:
Just go earlier than the rest of the people :thumbsup2 , peak activity seems to be around 12:30 - 1h PM, so we got lunch around 11h30-12 (of course you will have to get your dinner also earlier or get some snack) and never wait. For the dinner if you have your ADR -> no problem, if not, around 6PM almost nobody is dinning, but everybody seems to be hungry around 6:30 - 8 PM.
BTW when you finish eating, and with some luck, you will have less queue at the attractions as more people are in the restaurants :thumbsup2

Your park plan sounds good. I would reconsider rope drop. You can see alot in a short time when people are sleeping in.

So, I guess what I meant was...does anyone have any "must see's/do's" for me and which day to do them on? Like, "day 1 eat at @@@ for lunch (or dinner,) etc." I've never done the character dining, (excpet for CRT) and I don't want to miss anything!!

Also, what is your plan for afternoon breaks, which park for which day, and which day would be a good one for an off day.
