I need to change hotels!! after weeks of looking for a place I finaly picked the staybridge 2 brd suite and was happy with my choice, now my husband wants a hotel with a large pool to swim in (excercise nut) and is willing to pay more...I want to strangle him:furious: I`m so sick of looking at hotel pictures and reading about each one..:headache: please help me!!! we don`t want a house because with two teens we need a place were there is a pool area where they can walk around and not be stuck in a house bored of looking at us...I would also love to have a smal kitchen...we will have a car but don`t want to be too far from parks. thanks.

I've heard the Doubletree is nice(on I-Drive i believe)Laquinta Inn on Jamaicen Ct. is where we stay offsite and the pool is pretty big.
Hope this helps:thumbsup2

It sounds like he wants to swim laps, and he may have a hard time doing that in a hotel pool due to the number of people in the pool. Good luck!

Edited to add:

According to this - http://www.athleticmindedtraveler.com/blog/?p=214 - the Dolphin and Swan have a lap pool (but you won't have the space that you would have at SS).

Here's one that comes closer to what you probably want - http://www.expedia.nl/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/nojs=1/htid=1384631/crti=2/hotelinfo - Floriday's Resort would have the kitchen and you could get more than one BR/BA. It has a lap pool, so that would meet his needs. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re...Floridays_Orlando_Resort-Orlando_Florida.html and http://travel.travelocity.com/hotel...CO&city=Orlando&tab=features&resetReview=true

Embassy Suites has inside out pool I think it's call. But I am not sure.

I`m talking about the kind of guy who gets up up at 5 a.m to do laps or gets on his bike and goes for a 15 mile bike ride so he can be at his office at 9 :confused3 I mean don`t get me wrong I do admire him for it and he is a great DH but I`m just sick of looking for hotel options!! and he could have said something about this earlier:furious:

I`m thinking about maybe one of the condo complex places like orange lake?? or maybe just going with staying at the dolphin???

We own a TS just past OL. It looks nice from the outside driving past it but I've never stayed there. It's over 20 yrs old but still some newer units too. This is why it gets mixed reviews on TA. Very large resort.

To see it on Google Earth, enter W. Orange Lake Blvd, Kissimmee, FL.
It's on Rt. 192 just west of Rt. 429. HTH:goodvibes

I'd suggest the metropolian on I drive - note request the tower.
It is right next to a YMCA.
