I need help on planning a surprise

Hello Again,

I wrote about a month ago telling you how Dfi propsed in WDW and that we are going to DLRP in January. Well I really want to surprise him, we discused we wouldn't book hotel till really last minute but after seeing the advert 20% I want to book and surprise him on Christmas day that i have booked it. #

BUT...

I have been on disneylandparis.co.uk and havent seen a price differnce :S?
Are these discounts only avaliable by calling the number on the advert (i have noted this down from your previous threads)

AND...

My other question for people that have planned a Disney trip as a surprise (even thouh mines not really a surpriselike you didnt really know you were going but i wanted to surprise you that i have done it lol) how did you keep it a secret and how did you tell them?

I was going to but a present box and fill it with all disney things my cousin is getting me park maps to put in the box i was then going to put details of where we will be staying (Sequia lodge we alreadt decided)

That bits wrong tinks, its definitely book by 31st January 2009.

I just had a look on the website - put in 7th Jan for 2 adults for 2 nights (just as an example). The Sequoia Lodge didn't come up with the 20% off, but the Newport Bay Club did, and so the NBC is actually cheaper than the SL for those dates.

It will be only for certain dates I'm afraid, maybe those dates arent discounted.

not really to do with the offer, but we are staying in the sequoia in a few weeks, and if you want anything sending that your cousin can't get just drop me a PM and i will get you some things (maps of parks/hotels, could even take photos of stuff and email you them)

i had an idea DFi mentioned about booking the hotel in 4 weeks so it will all be done for christmas so no surprise but i wondered can i ring and upgrade the hotel or room after we have booked so there still will be a surprise of some sort

ok so i am stealing an idea i read on another thread (need your help - creative thinking) thatjan janmary did a really sweet thing for her children

For your final one, you could maybe use the idea we used when we told our kids on Christmas Day - we bought a mickey mouse christmas helium balloon, with a Mickey Mouse shaped postcard and a bell on the end of a ribbon. We wrapped it in a huge box with a ribbon. When they opened the box, Mickey floated out, and the postcard said "Can you guess where we are going?"

When my daughter was writing about it at school she wrote "I didn't think you could get a holiday in a box".

and this is such a lovely idea that i wanted to do it so im searching the internet for a toy story balloon (no luck as of yet) and attach a woody and buzz post card to the balloon saying looking forward to seeing you

oh also does any one know where i can find a picture of buzz and woody together (with out any one else in) and i remember finding a websight of pictures of their signatures as well does any one know what sight this was i cant find it now x x

yea i had a look on a few sites and found just buzz shaped one which is fine but he prefers woody he would wouldnt he lol thank for the advice though and i still cant find that autograph website
