do i need to make reservations for dinners and massages or any thing you can think of that could help me also any sugestions or ideas would be great im trying a 4 day disney and 3 day cruise were should i stay and any suggetions also to make it more fun

You only need to make dinner reservations if you want to eat at Palo, the adult only Italian restaurant. You can make this when you first board the ship. You will also want to book spa reservations soon after you get on the ship. I have heard these go pretty quick, at least the prime slots. Im sorry I cant help you with the rest, I have never been to WDW before just DL. I'm sure you'll get plenty of help from others though. :sunny:

My best advice is to search these boards they are fantastic to help with planning for both land and sea parts, let us know your family dynamics i.e daughter / son and ages and likes and i'm sure you'll get a lot of replies to help you plan, whatever you do you will have a blast

enjoy

We always stay at the poly...its beautiful and really close to the TTC....and plus its on the monorail route too....and category like 5 or 6 is where we stayed mostly its like perfect not huge and expensive or anything with a verandah for some fresh air...hope this helps you out!

reservations for hairbraiding, Palo's, spa, don't miss the sail away party, get a verandah.... character breakfast if available at the park, not available on 3 night, more info about your family and we can give a little more info of stuff for the age specific....

let us know.

bushwacker,

First let me say welcome to the boards. You will find very helpful and friendly folks here to answer all of your questions.

You need to give us a little more information like when you are sailing, and who is in your party (include the ages of any children.)

If you are doing the land/sea package you will need to make PS's for any meals at WDW or you could wing it and go without ressies,(depending on what time of year you go). All meals on the ship (except for Palo's which has a $10.00 charge per person) are included in your package, but you will need to budget money for your meals in the parks.

The cabin catagory you chose for your cruise, will determine the resort selection you will have. The lower the cabin catagory, the more deluxe the resort. You will need to determine how important having the verandah is to your party.

The concensus here on the boards is that a 3 nite cruise is TOO SHORT. You may want to consider the 3 nite WDW with the 4 nite cruise package.

Give us some more information and we will try our best to help you make some decisions.

Welcome on board!!!

Ah, but three days at Disney is far too short. You'll need to do a seven day cruise at at least a week at Disney. ;)

(Seriously, my recommendation is not to combine them - three days is short for a cruise, four short for Disney. Reversing them is worse. But a lot of people do the land/sea package and enjoy it).

What else to expect - you will gain five pounds. You will fall in love with your waitstaff and go from believing the tip guidelines to be extravagent to wanting to sign over your children to these people. You will have guava juice in your fridge to make yourself Bahama Mamas.

One suggestion I had was make sure you know what times you have available when you go make your spa reservations. I was the first person in line and I have to say it surprised me and threw me off totally. I was like, um that time oh no wait, that time oh maybe not. It was kinda funny.

You'll also want to try and find out when your character breakfast is if you are going to do a spa treatment in the morning - if that matters to you. We had our two way radios with us and dh went and found that out so that I could make my spa ressie (we were on the 7 day and that was a day I could do a spa treatment and I preferred morning). Also he was able to let me know what time the Palo ressie was made so that I didn't book at that same time too (he made it to all these places before I could find my way to the spa - it was our first cruise).
