We're going for my daughter's Make a Wish trip in July. We're flying in on the 15th and home on the 21st. I don't know what times yet. We'll have 3 day hopper passes to WDW, 2 day passes to Universal and 1 day at Sea World.

The first day I was thinking about taking her to Gatorland then Dinner at 1900 park Faire I already made Priority seating for that one.

On Sunday the 17th I made PS for the Nick Hotel breakfast, we eat at 7:00 am parks doesn't open til 9am.. would you hang out and go to Universal on Sunday or head toward DW that day?

At least one morning I need to get her to MK ultra early so she has a chance of being the one to wake up Tink. That would mean so much to her!

I know I want to book her for Princess Storybook Lunch as she's dying to meet Ariel. What day would you head to Epcot? Is it all the same during the summer? Would you do all 3 days at the world together or space them out? I want to take her to Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch one day. What park would you go to that day? Will someone just plan this trip for me!!! DH doesn't want to have every min planned, but it's clear we need a little planing.

I figured we should do a character breakfast on the last day we're there too, so Breakfast somewhere on the 21st.

Thanks
Amanda

Amanda it sounds like a great trip. I can't answer all of your questions, but I can tell you that the waking up Tinker Bell is kind of a non-event. It's kind of like a lighting ceremony, but it's inside a gift shop at the rear of the castle.
Maybe if your DD is really young (3 or 4?) she would enjoy it. Otherwise, I would not stress over it.

I would possibly group your Disney days together. I personally like having all of my Disney time together when I'm doing other things in the area on a trip too. There are many great character meals. If you do not get a PS for the Princess meal in Norway/Epcot remember Ariel is in her grotto at the MK.

I can't help you much with your planning but I want to tell you to have a wonderful and magical trip :wizard:

My sister's wish trip was such a wonderful experience. We all have such great memories from it and talk of it often :)

Best wishes for you and your special little one princess:

Reya is 6 and fairy obsessed. When she was making her wish she wished to go to where the fairies lived... Then where the unicorns lived. Finally she said she wanted to *meet* Tinkerbell :) Sooo I'll be trying to get there.

I"m planning one cool meal a day. So far I have
1900 Park Fare- booked
WCC - need to make PS
Ohanas- Need to make PS
Nick Hotel Character breakfast- booked
Princess Story book lunch- Need to make PS
Chef Mickey- Morning we leave need to make PS
Maybe lunch with Shamu or something like that.

I can't believe how obessive this trip planning can be. I seriously think of NOTHING else! LOL I also need to work in time for the Wonderland Tea Party and maybe the Princess Tea party (not sure if I want to spend the $$ on that one)

Wish me luck!

{{{{hugs}}}} I'm sorry about your sister. We're celebrating that Reya has been cancer free for 4 years now.

It sounds like you are trying to pack a lot of stuff in a few days. Don't feel bad. You are not alone. I do the same thing every time I go to WDW. I would like to make a few suggestions though.
1) Don't go to MK or AK on Monday. Those are historically the busiest days for those parks. This might be a good day for EPCOT.
2) The weekends are good days for Magic Kingdom. That is when people are usually in travel mode so it is not as crowded.
3) As a family, YOU need to decide what is the last thing that you want to see or do before you have to head home. This is your vacation and you want it to be magical. Since you have the park hopper tickets, if you decide the last thing you want to do is ride Buzz Lightyear; then do it. Even if you have already been to MK, you can go to MGM that morning and then hop over to MK to ride that ride or vice versa.
4) Finally, I have done 3 character breakfast and one character lunch. Not knowing really anything about you or your family, I will make a recommendation on food and character involvement. The one that has the most involvement and best food for the breakfasts that I have done is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. But I will say the lunch at the Garden Grill was outstanding.

Hope that helps! :cool1: ::MickeyMo :teeth:

That's the kind of info I need. I'll plan PSBL for Monday then :) (that is in Epcot right?

Our last day we'll probably just hang out at GKTW. We'll have a Character breakfast to send us off. Probably Chef Mickey's :earsboy:

It's just me, DH and a 6yo wish kid. She's doing very well so there's no particular disablility issues. Since it's her wish trip we're being way more child centered on this trip than we normally would be.
Good to know that's(chef Mickey's) a good one to end our trip with a bang!

I appriciate the help

To Wake up Tink be sure to be there for the rope drop and head straight to Tinkerbell's Treasures - We walked into the store 15 min after opening last year and my DD got to wake up tink - we were very surprised that no one had asked yet but I hear that it is getting more popular so you may want to try to be there right at opening - You may not want to tell her about Waking up Tink , just incase you are not the first ones there however if your DD does not get to wake up tink make sure she looks through the Key Hole on the chest in the store - she may get to see Tink in the drawer - LOL Also she may really love to go on the Family Magic Tour - it is $25 perperson , you can get a discount with AAA or Disney Visa. It is a scavenger hunt through MK with a special surprise character greeting near the end - it is limited to a group of 20 so each child will get some special time.

Also I've heard WONDERFUL things about the Princess Tea Party - it is alot of money but every review I have read said that it was an absolute must do with no regrets about the price. DD and I are going to go near the end of May - this is her treat for getting all A's this year in school. I was hesitant because of the price but after all the reviews I figured it would be worth it just once.

Enjoy your trip!

Defidently not telling her! I'm actually keeping a lot of things secret. She has no idea she's going to Universal or Sea World and she knows very little about Give Kids the World.

That sounds like FUN I'll be sure to look into it Thanks!

I know I keep hearing that too, but I'm just sooo cheap! LOL The bad part is our wish granters told me that they would set it up, but that changed now I have to reserve it.... Granted I'll probably have enough since they send spending money, but I still have such a hard time with spending $200 for a 2hr event.. $265 if DH comes  I don't know if the practical side of me can spend that kind of cash even if it isn't mine!

Thanks for the help

Amanda
