I know I get so excited everytime I hit a new number and days will start flying faster once college starts.. Also I love the picture

Yeah news there I'm registering for college on the 16th and starting my masters on the 26th
Two things first needs prayers because I applied for a grant and if I get the grant I don't have to pay college fees. Haven't heard whether I have it yet but have fingers, toes, eyes, arms, legs and anything else crossed that I can that I get the grant!

Second thing I was lying awake last night thinking about the course and trying to come up with ideas in advance for some of the projects and thinking about a possible media related thesis and disney of course I came up with what messages do disney movies give?! I dunno if that could be used as a masters but I saw a poster online the other day about Jasmine being a super skinny princess and thinking how none of the disney princesses are "fat" and then the whole magazines show super skinny and what messages does that give young people blah.... I may think to much but how cool would it be to do a thesis that is disney related!

The thesis sounds interesting...but do little girls really look at the size of the princesses? I like that each of the princesses is strong in her own way, yes in the end it is about happily ever after with a prince...I like the messages surrounding the newer princesses (Jasmine, Ariel, Tiana) as opposed to Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

Congrats on paying off the tickets and going back to college. Will pray everything works out with the grants and college money! I'm with Mamabario, it's the message of the movie more so than the image of the princesses. But in the older movies, they were packing a little more weight.

I don't think little girls are bothered by weight that much although one of my nieces was from a young age but it's the idea of them growing up watching the super skinny princesses as well...

I think snow white is fattest and she's sill skinny.. i'll see what i can come up with thesis wise I just think it'd be cool to do something disney related if I can.

79 days...

Apparently I am a Bee with an itch... I'm currently putting together dvd of our 2008 trip to Florida just for fun (it made it to video but never to dvd) but doing the Seaworld day and I didn't realise I do this in the shows but everytime the whales or dolphins splashed people you hear an evil little laugh out of me behind the video lol! It was kinda funny looking back on it!












(Also other news Shhhh I'm going back to Irish dancing tomorrow (not excited at all just doing this.... )

I just think it's so funny when they all start running up the steps because they're getting wet like HELLO it does say splash zone that kinda suggests you're going to get wet!

Another one of my random thoughts that leads to a question...

Stuff is cheaper in America than here... sooooo anyone familiar with the outlet stores at either side of International drive where either in or near them would one get cheap dance supplies.. I want the dance sneakers but I figure they're going to be cheaper over there than here so I'm going to wait to get them in America.

Bleh bleh bleh.. Is it time to go to Mickey's house yet? I've lost count on days I'm at 70something lol!

Also if it's cold I'm going to use that as an excuse to buy new Mickey Mouse hat, scarf and gloves and hoodie as I plan to accidentally on purpose forget to bring these to the park someday

just discovered i can take this addiction to a whole new level. Got a new phone recently and just figured out i can get onto dis with it. How i love modern technology when i figure out how it works but that means in 71 days i can give live updates from the mouses house. Score factor much!

Emma i completely understand you being frustrated at the timing of your fave band's concert!

I know how inconsiderate of them. They should have had it the day before lol. To get the tickets you had to buy a new smart phone though as it's going to be intimate interactived concert as in you text the song you want and they'll sing it for you. How cool would that have been. Oh well though may just go to a couple of extra concerts on their next tour to make up for missing this one
