I need Dining Help

I'd appreciate advice and help with my adr's please!
Our dates are Sept 20-27. We're getting into Orlando sooner than I expected (2pm, yay!) so I need an adr for the 20th. We're thinking we'll go to Epcot that evening to catch the fireworks. I tried Coral Reef and Le Cellier and of course they are booked, so any other suggestions for dining?

Any suggestions would be awesome!

I don't know what you will find, but we really enjoy Teppan Edo in Japan. I love the grills where they cook in front of you - entertainment and good food.

I have always wanted to try the Rose and Crown and sit outside to watch Illuminations.

I hear Tutto Italia is very good, but very expensive. I'm trying it on our next trip.

It may be difficult to get into a good restaurant during free dining. If you are flying, your plane may arrive at 2, but expect to wait at Magical Express for a couple of hours, then another hour to get to your room, another hour to get checked in. We like to eat at Wolfgang Pucks express. It is counter service and the food is awesome. Especially like the pizza and rotisserie chicken. You would have no problem eating there.
Go to Downtown Disney Marketplace, go under the red arches, turnleft on the back sidewalk and then look to your right for the cafe. It is about a 3 minute walk from where the bus drops you off.
If you can get into a restaurant on property, enjoy!

You might want to call and see what ADRs are even available and make your decision from there. Not only is your trip very soon, but throw in free dining and you may find that there aren't a lot of choices available to you.

But I also agree with the PP, if your plane is getting in at 2pm, you shouldn't expect to be at Disney and checked into your hotel for a few hours. You still have to deplane, wait for your luggage, go get a taxi or rental car or wait for ME, then it's about a 30-40 minute drive to the resorts in the best of traffic (and remember with ME you may be stopping at several other resorts to drop off other passengers), and with all that you'd probably be arriving about check in time, which means that there could be a bit of a line ahead of you. Then you'll get your room key and I would imagine you'll want to at least unpack a few things.

EPCOT has a lot of really wonderful Counter Service restaurants that don't require a reservation....so your family can still enjoy an evening in EPCOT but not need to worry about making it to a reservation on time. WHen you're ready, head over and choose something. Personally, we enjoy Yorkshire Fish & Chips in United Kingdom; Boulangerie Patisserie in France (they have wonderful sandwiches in addition to all the desserts!); either of the Japanese counter services; or Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. There is also Sunshine Seasons in Future World.

Depending on what time you arrive, you could also take your counter service meal and eat it while waiting for Illuminations to begin (since you'll want to grab a seat about an hour before the show starts). It's a great way to soak up the Pixie Dust!

I'll be at All Star Sports too! I'll keep an eye out for ya (I got my lime green mickeys this weekend)
Will it really take that long from airport to the room via ME? My friend who went at Christmas time said it took under an hour for them from airport to room. Anywhoo...Saturday evening is still totally up in the air as to where we'll go, maybe we'll just do a CS that night whereever we wind up.

Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness will be a basic meal, but a likely available TS. Beaches and Cream doesn't accept ADRs. You can also ask the CM to look for dinner anywhere in Epcot around x hour and see what is available.
